At Risedale we believe in good behaviours that support learning, respect and care for each other regardless of background, belief or personality and we will constantly develop these qualities with our young people so that they can become full, happy and productive citizens of the future.
We are 'The Risedale Family' and together we are 'A family of learners'.

A FUTURE BEYOND CONSTRAINTS
UNDERSTANDING THE WORLD
TO ACHIEVE AMBITIONS
The five pillars: The main mantra of our curriculum is to be inclusive, to challenge and to engage all pupils positively in their learning through a broader understanding of the world around them. Throughout this, we emphasise kindness and empathy through a family ethos. To achieve this, we have 5 clear pillars which underpins our whole school curriculum vision.
Our KIT letters contain important school notices for Risedale parents/carers and pupils. Within them you will find good news stories, expectations for learning and behaviour, updates about online safety and advice for promoting good physical health and mental wellbeing.
Thomas Leighton (7Vizor) wins bronze at national swimming championships.
Thomas Gibbons (9Southworth-Gedye) has been recognised for his outstanding work and contribution to conservation and the environment.
