The five pillars: The main mantra of our curriculum is to be inclusive, to challenge and to engage all pupils positively in their learning through a broader understanding of the world around them. Throughout this, we emphasise kindness and empathy through a family ethos. To achieve this, we have 5 clear pillars which underpins our whole school curriculum vision.
On Thursday 1st July, year 9 Risedale School pupil Aaron Park (14yrs) was presented with the Army Cadet of the Year Award at the Catterick Detachment of the Yorkshire (N&W) Army Cadet Force, Piave Lines, Catterick Garrison.
A team of young people from The Prince’s Trust Catterick Garrison have successfully designed and built a drone assault course for Risedale School to use as part of their inter-house competition programme of activities.
Millie is 15 years old and currently in Year 10 at Risedale. She is a keen sportswoman and represents the school at football and also captains the Richmond Town girls team.
