Communication with our Parents/Carers
We communicate regularly with parents in a number of ways; by post, email, MCAS, telephone and text. In addition lots of information can be found on our website and via our social media links:
Facebook: @RisedaleFamily | Twitter: @RisedaleFamily | Instagram: @RisedaleFamily | YouTube: www.youtube.com/c/RisedaleSchool
As a school, we always try to act in the best interest of our pupils, parents and staff but know that it's not always possible to get everything right. If you have any concerns please let us know as soon as possible, by contacting the school on 01748 833501, so we can try to help. We believe that it is better for everyone if issues can be resolved at the earliest possible stage and know that many concerns can be resolved informally. We take all concerns seriously and know that there are occasions when an issue may need to be taken further and a formal complaint raised. In those cases, please follow our complaints policy and procedure to commence this process accordingly. Click here to view our Complaints Policy.
Handling complaints during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak
DfE does not expect schools to handle new or existing complaints while they are closed. Schools should, however, still engage with parents and pupils where they can. Complaints can be considered once the government confirms schools can safely reopen. Contact your local council or call the police on 101 if you’re told a child is at risk. Schools and complainants can contact DfE for more information about school complaints.
We will always act to ensure that our school remains a safe place for pupils, staff and all other members of our community. Please show our staff the respect we try our best to give you.
