LLu Hello, my name is Mrs Lumsdon, and I am the Transition Manager and a Senior Teacher at Risedale School.

I oversee the transition process for our new pupils, and I am very much looking forward to welcoming your child to the Risedale Family. We understand that the transition to secondary school can be an exciting yet nerve-wracking time for both pupils and their families, and I want to reassure you that Risedale School is committed to supporting them every step of the way.

Key Dates

Year 6 Welcome Evening: Thursday, 25th June | 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm.
Transition Days: Tuesday, 30th June and Wednesday, 1st July 2026.
Uniform Pop-up Shop: Monday, 6th July | 5:00 pm – 6:30 pm (In the School Hall)
