Activities & Enrichment

Welcome to the Risedale School activities and enrichment page.

At Risedale School, enrichment is a central part of helping every pupil become the BEST version of themselves. We believe that learning extends far beyond the traditional classroom setting, and our wide-ranging enrichment programme is designed to develop the character, social skills, and practical life experiences our pupils need to thrive both in school and in society.

Important Information for Pupils & Parents

Please review the key guidelines below before joining an after-school club:

  • Pupil Responsibility: It is the pupil’s responsibility to inform their parent or carer if they wish to attend an after-school activity and ensure all details are shared beforehand.
  • Timings: Most after-school enrichment activities run weekly from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm, unless specified otherwise.
  • Availability: Select activities may be restricted to specific year groups or have limited capacity — please check individual club details on the timetable.

PE Activities and Clubs

  • Lunchtime Activity Clothing: School uniform and trainers.
  • After-School Activity Clothing: PE kit/sports clothes and trainers/football boots.
  • Pupils, please see the PE notice board in the Sports Hall for information regarding fixtures.
  • Pupils in KS4 must attend extra-curricular activities to be selected for upcoming fixtures.
  • All jewellery must be removed.
