At Risedale we have a dedicated team, who work hard to produce a wide variety of meals for our pupils and staff, freshly cooked each day. Ingredients are sourced locally from around the Yorkshire region and offer a healthy, balanced and varied diet.
Purchasing Food
The school operates a 'cashless system' for purchasing food, this is where pupils use cash to top up their balance in school by using the Reval Machines available in the dining hall or parents can top up using 'ParentPay' online. By using the ParentPay facility, parents can also check their child's balance and see what they have purchased to eat.
Canteen Price Increase Update
As communicated in the recent Headteacher's Letter, following the Easter break, we have now updated our canteen prices to reflect the ongoing rise in food costs. We remain committed to providing high-quality meals for your child, and these adjustments will help us maintain our ability to offer delicious and nutritious options.
New Canteen Prices:
These prices reflect an average increase of 9% across most canteen options. Please be assured, that if your child qualifies for Free School Meals, their daily allowance will automatically cover the cost of the two-course ‘Meal Deal’ ensuring they continue to enjoy a balanced and filling lunch at no additional cost.

Dietary Requirements
We aim to meet the dietary needs of our pupils and staff; please inform the school of any allergies or dietary requirements your child may have which can then be passed on to the school Catering Manager.
