Our Year 10 pupils are proving that sustainability is always in style with their latest upcycled shirt project.
We are thrilled to share a behind-the-scenes look at what our Year 10 Fashion & Textiles pupils have been up to!
Under the guidance of Mrs Vizor, the class has been tackling a brief focused on sustainability. Pupils are designing and constructing shirts made entirely from upcycled materials, learning the importance of ethical fashion and resourcefulness in the process.
Mrs Vizor has been so impressed by the dedication and technical skill shown by the group. It is inspiring to see our pupils take such a mindful approach to design.
Did you know? The fashion industry is responsible for 10% of global carbon emissions. Our Year 10s are learning how to lower that footprint, one upcycled shirt at a time!
Brilliant work, everyone!
