Year 9 pupils have kicked off the new school year in style, demonstrating our core BEST values while gaining hands-on workplace experience as Pupil Receptionists.
A huge well done to our Pupil Receptionists, Jeneia Ruse and Cassie Sells (9 Davies), for setting such a fantastic example at the start of term!
As part of our Careers, Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) programme, our Year 9 pupils step up throughout the year to gain practical, real-world workplace experience while supporting the daily running of the school. By taking on the front-of-house desk, Jeneia and Cassie have demonstrated our core values in action:
- RESPONSIBILITY: Taking ownership of the desk, representing the school with pride, and setting a brilliant example for their peers.
- RESPECT: Greeting visitors, staff, and pupils with warmth, confidence, and politeness.
- RESILIENCE: Stepping out of their comfort zones to handle real-world workplace tasks.
- RELATIONSHIPS: Working seamlessly as a team and supporting our main office staff.
