Risedale School's U14 boys football team faced off against Outwood Academy Easingwold on Tuesday 28th November 2023, in their first match of the season. Despite missing some key players, the team showed great resilience and teamwork, battling until the final whistle.

Year 8 goalkeeper Zachary White (8Allen) made some great saves to keep the score line down. The team's coach, Mr J Metcalfe, was proud of the boys' effort and determination.

"I was very impressed with the boys' performance today. They never gave up, even when they were down. They showed some great teamwork and fought until the final whistle. I am confident that they will continue to improve as the season progresses."

The U14 boys football team looks forward to their next match, determined to learn from their experience and continue to develop their skills as a team.
