Supporting Our Service Pupils

09/03/2026 Top News

Our Service Pupil Manager, Dr Ellis, is hosting weekly drop-in sessions to ensure every pupil feels heard and supported. Whether you're looking for guidance or just a friendly face who understands the unique journey of a service child, the Risedale Family is here for you.

At Risedale School, we are committed to ensuring our Service pupils feel heard and supported every step of the way. We recognise that while the global climate can sometimes feel unpredictable, the Risedale Family remains a constant, steady environment for our pupils.

Weekly Drop-In Sessions

Our Service Pupil Manager, Dr Ellis, hosts two dedicated drop-in sessions every week in Library 2. These sessions offer a calm, welcoming space where pupils can connect, share experiences, and feel at home.

  • Tuesday Lunchtimes: Key Stage 3 (Years 7, 8 & 9)
  • Thursday Lunchtimes: Key Stage 4 (Years 10 & 11)

Here to Help

Whether a pupil needs specific guidance, help navigating a challenge, or simply a friendly face to talk to, Dr Ellis is always available to help and listen. These sessions are a vital part of our commitment to providing a consistent support network for our Service community.
