Huge congratulations to Year 10 Risedale School pupil Lucy Patey who received the Most Improved Player award at Richmondshire RUFC’s end of season presentation night on Saturday 14th May.

Proud Dad, Stuart, said:

“Lucy joined the team midway through the season but has already proven to be a dedicated and versatile player. Lucy scored in her first-ever match and was also willing to change position when asked. She was also given the opportunity to play as the team Vice Captain at a rugby festival.

He added that,

“Even though Lucy is relatively new to the team she is 100% committed to her training and matches.”
