On Monday 16th October, the Year 7 pupils at Risedale School had the opportunity to learn life-saving CPR and defibrillation from the Yorkshire Ambulance Service for Restart a Heart Day.
The survival rates from sudden cardiac arrests are very low in the UK, with only 1 in 10 people surviving. However, we remain hopeful to change this statistic. Let's work together to improve these numbers.
