The half-term Halloween challenge was accepted by a small group of Risedale pumpkin carvers and we received some fabulously creepy entries. It was really difficult to decide on a winner.

1st prize and 40 house points for Turing ❤️ was awarded to Caitlin Enbom (11Louison) for her Tim Burton-inspired Coraline creation.

2nd prize and 30 house points for Pankhurst 💜 went to Holly Millington (7Metcalfe) for her scary spidery spooktacular.

3rd prize and 20 points for Seacole 🧡 to Ruby Taylor (7Laheney) for her ghostly glowing pumpkins.

4th prize and 10 house points for Attenborough 💙 was awarded to Sienna Stevens (9Sandell) for the beautiful witch’s black cat. 

Special mention must also go to Alex Dunphy, Cody Price, Mabel Thirlwell and Riley Williams-Matthews for a fabulous array of pumpkins (all in Year 7) and Callum Sankey in 10Hill.
