Our Year 11 pupils are already making the most of their brand-new Common Room—a fantastic new space made possible by the hard work of our dedicated staff and the support of the Risedale community!
We are thrilled to announce that our brand-new Year 11 Common Room is officially open! This dedicated space is designed to give our pupils a place to recharge, study, and connect during their final year.
The feedback so far has been really heartwarming. Pupil Support Manager, Mrs Niblett, shared: "All the Year 11 pupils have been so incredibly well behaved, respectful, and thankful to have this space.”

A massive shout-out goes to Mrs Vizor (BEST Positive Behaviour Lead KS4) and all the incredible staff who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to get this room ready. From moving furniture to adding those finishing touches, your hard work has created a fantastic environment for our pupils.
We would also like to extend a special thanks to all the staff who have volunteered and given up their own lunchtimes to supervise the room, ensuring our pupils have a safe and welcoming space to enjoy every day.
