As the Spring Term draws to a close, our Key Stage 4 pupils have been celebrated for their hard work, maturity, and dedication to the Risedale Family. Led by Mr Kirkbride (Senior Teacher) and Mrs Vizor (BEST Positive Behaviour Lead KS4), the Year 10 and 11 recognition assemblies highlighted the pupils who have gone above and beyond.

🌟 Nominated by the Risedale Family

The awards presented this week were particularly special as they were driven by staff nominations. Every Friday, Mrs Vizor invites all staff to nominate pupils who truly embody our school values in their daily lives.

Whether it’s showing leadership in the classroom or kindness in the corridors, these nominations reflect how our pupils interact with the entire Risedale Family. It was a privilege to present prizes and Easter eggs to our top-nominated winners. A special mention must go to those pupils who received multiple nominations from different staff members—an amazing achievement that shows just how much of an impact they are making!

🏆 Living our BEST Values

The heart of our celebrations focused on our core values. We were proud to present awards to pupils who have been outstanding role models by demonstrating RESPONSIBILITY, RESPECT, RESILIENCE and positive RELATIONSHIPS.

🎓 Year 11: Leavers' Hoodies and Revision

Beyond the celebrations, the atmosphere in Year 11 was buzzing as pupils began collecting their Leavers' Hoodies and Revision Guides! Seeing the Year 11s in their hoodies is always a proud moment for the school, marking the final stretch of their journey with us.

Many pupils are already working hard on their revision, and we are looking forward to continuing that focus during the Easter break.
