Hellow Yellow Day 2025

๐Ÿ’› Get Ready to Go Yellow! We're brightening the school on Friday, 10th October, for YoungMinds. ๐Ÿ’›

We're excited to announce that our school will be supporting the fantastic charity, YoungMinds, by participating in “Hello Yellow Day” on Friday, 10th October, in honour of World Mental Health Day. By wearing something yellow, our pupils will join thousands of others across the country in showing that they are not alone and in bringing the conversation about young people's mental health into the open.

How to Participate:

๐Ÿ’› What to Wear:

For our "Hello Yellow Day," we are asking that pupils who wish to take part wear something yellow to show their support for World Mental Health Day. This isn't a full non-uniform day. We are just asking pupils to swap one item of uniform for something yellow, such as a t-shirt or skirt, or to wear a yellow accessory like a hair band. Please note that all other school uniform must be worn correctly.

๐Ÿ’› Donation:

We kindly ask for a £1 donation if your child wishes to wear something yellow. However, even if your child doesn't participate in wearing yellow, you can still make a donation to support this worthy cause. There is no requirement to buy something yellow for the day. All funds raised will go directly to YoungMinds, and you can easily donate through ParentPay now, or your child can bring in £1 cash before the event or on the day.

๐Ÿ’› Equipment Reminders:

Please ensure your child brings all necessary school equipment on the day, including their pencil case, planner, charged Chromebook (in its protective case Y8-11), and PE kit if timetabled that day.

Let's Make a Difference Together!

Your support in celebrating mental health and wellbeing is greatly appreciated. By participating in “Hello Yellow Day”, we're sending a powerful message of hope and understanding to our pupils.
