Risedale pupils engage with local officers to explore the impact of hate crime and the importance of making safe, responsible choices.
On Tuesday, 19th May, we were delighted to welcome officers from the Catterick Neighbourhood Policing Team to Risedale School.
The officers delivered assemblies sharing vital information regarding hate crime awareness and the "One Punch Can Kill" campaign. These sessions focused on the importance of taking RESPONSIBILITY for our actions and showing RESPECT to everyone in our community.
Well done to all our pupils for listening so carefully!
A visiting officer from the team noted:
"It was a privilege to speak with the pupils at Risedale. By raising awareness about hate crimes and the consequences of violence, we hope to empower these young people to make safe, positive choices."
