This morning, the festive spirit was in full swing as pupils Bethany and Riley represented Risedale School on a special visit to Hillcrest Care Home. The pair arrived bearing gifts, delivering the beautiful entries from the school’s recent Christmas card competition, much to the delight of the residents.

While the morning was about spreading joy, it also marked a meaningful end to the term. Risedale is committed to celebrating pupil success by giving back, and this visit has successfully established a lasting volunteer link with the local community. The experience was particularly impactful for Bethany, who has been inspired by the visit to pursue a future career in the caring professions.

We are incredibly proud of our pupils for proving that the best way to celebrate the season is by supporting others. Risedale is honoured to give back this Christmas!
