Risedale School has officially launched the 'Beyond the Barracks' mentoring programme, partnering with York St John University to help Year 10 service pupils explore their post-16 options and plan for the future.
As part of our Month of the Military Child celebrations, we were delighted to welcome Abbie and her team of University Student Mentors from York St John University to Risedale School today! 🎓✨
They have officially launched the 'Beyond the Barracks' mentoring programme for our Year 10 pupils. This fantastic initiative will see Abbie and her team visiting us weekly to explore how different aspects of service life can impact and shape post-16 journeys. 🚀
In today’s first session, our pupils took a deep dive into the specific post-16 options available, helping them plan for a bright and successful future. 🌟
