Year 7 pupils showcase impressive independence and culinary skill as they master handmade pizza swirls in Food and Nutrition.
Our Year 7 pupils have been busy in the kitchen this week, demonstrating fantastic progress in their Food and Nutrition lessons. The challenge for the day was a technical one: creating handmade Pizza Swirls from scratch.
Making dough by hand is a demanding task that requires patience and precision. The pupils showed great independence throughout the process, successfully kneading and rolling out their dough to the perfect consistency before shaping them into their signature swirls.
The kitchen was filled with a variety of delicious aromas as pupils added the creative toppings they had brought from home. The final results were not only visually impressive but looked truly professional.
We are incredibly proud of the focus, RESILIENCE, and practical skills our Year 7s displayed today. It is wonderful to see our young chefs growing in confidence and taking such pride in their independent work.
Well done to everyone involved—keep up the brilliant effort!
