What a brilliant introduction session to our Peer Reading programme at Risedale School!

We were delighted to welcome pupils from Hipswell Church of England Primary School, who kicked things off by discussing their favourite book characters and creating a vibrant display board. It was wonderful to see the interactions and RELATIONSHIPS forming between Year 5 pupils and Risedale peer readers. 

Over the next 6 weeks, our Risedale pupils will provide targeted support and guidance to Year 5, focusing on building confidence and—most importantly—making reading fun!

We can’t wait to see these reading journeys unfold- We are already looking forward to next week’s session.
