We are delighted to announce that the Library has a new book vending machine. Pupils can exchange their Epraise house points for book tokens and select a book from the vending machine to keep.

The Risedale Literacy Team wanted something original and exciting to encourage reading for pleasure in school and to promote our new ‘R&R’ programme. The vending machine is already proving to be incredibly popular and has generated a great buzz around school.
Congratulations to Janet Bellew-Philips, Kallie Cook, Natasha Griffiths-Allan and Honey Hibbins who are our first pupils to trade in their Epraise points for books!

There is something for all readers (and non-readers). The vending machine is filled with a range of books from fiction to colouring books.

It’s inspiring to see how much our pupils love books and we look forward to seeing them exchange their well-earned Epraise points for a wonderful new book.
