Many things can go wrong at exam time – from late buses to major illness. There are lots of things we can do to help; the most important advice is to contact the exams office URGENTLY if there are any problems. If a candidate is genuinely unable to take an exam (for medical or other valid reason) we need evidence for the exam boards – again, the exam office can give advice on the best way to get this but you must speak to us on the day of the exam. We also need to know as soon as possible about writing hand/arm injuries so we can arrange support.
